Hosted by the Antibody Society, which is dedicated to the promotion of antibody research and development, this conference showcases the latest antibody technologies and science to accelerate next generation antibodies towards commercial success.

Although only small quantities of antibodies are needed at discovery stage, the quality of the screening has profound impacts in later stage drug development and success rates. False positives may squander time, effort, and millions of dollars in investment. Since conducting multiple purification efficiently can be tricky with conventional technologies, monoclonal antibodies are often loaded directly to screening assays without purification.
Here, we are presenting a rapid, high-throughput antibody purification tool based on Purilogics’ proprietary Protein A membrane adsorbers that can complete purifications in minutes, not hours. Beyond the speed benefit, the data also suggest that one can use very small elution volume (as low as 50 μL for 96 well plates and 0.5 ml for 24 well plates) and still obtain decent recovery and a highly concentrated eluate, enhancing process flexibility.
This new tool, due to the more “hands off” nature, is easy to use, especially for green scientists.
