Purexa™ MCP

Hydrophobic Interaction Membrane

Purexa™ MCP
for Supercoiled pDNA Polishing

Purexa™ MCP is the first commercially available membrane chromatography product for the polishing of supercoiled pDNA. It offers up to 10x productivity compared to traditional resins. Download Purexa™ MCP datasheet PDF →

How Purexa™ MCP Works

Purexa™ MCP is the cornerstone of our pDNA purification offering and is able to successfully separate supercoiled pDNA from impurities such as open circular pDNA. Utilizing hydrophobic interactions, our porous membranes are functionalized for better purification.

Purilogics’ membranes can purify
and are not limited to these common biologics :

The Purexa™ product line has pore sizes ranging from 0.3µm to 5 µm. With a much larger pore size, the target molecule is easily able to bind to the membrane at a high capacity, regardless of the size. Thus, Purilogics’ membrane chromatography products can be applied for the purification of many sizes of biologics while also maintaining and a rapid flow rate and high binding capacity.
